“I thought I couldn’t make a difference because I was so small” – Greta Thunberg

Autism Plan I thought I couldn’t make a difference because I was so small

Meet GRETA THUNBERG an amazing autistic teenager from Sweden who sparked a global protest to protect our planet.
Four years ago Greta was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.
She said, “I have always been that girl in the back who doesn’t say anything. I thought I couldn’t make a difference because I was so small.”
Now Greta is leading a global campaign urging all world leaders to take action on climate change. It all began last summer when Greta decided to leave school on Friday so she could stand outside Swedish Parliament to protest.
Since then her “School Strike for Climate Change” has erupted into a worldwide movement. She said “It’s amazing! It’s now more than 71 countries and counting.”
Greta has now been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
History is full of autistic people who changed the way we live today, like Einstein, Da Vinci, Darwin, Mozart, Tesla, Alan Turing – who experts say would all have been on the spectrum.
We’ve no doubt this will continue for generations to come.
